Terms of Service
Last updated: March 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Payrix cryptocurrency payment gateway platform ("Service") operated by Payrix ("we", "our", "us"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing or using Payrix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
- If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
- If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Description of Service
- Payrix provides a cryptocurrency payment gateway that enables merchants to accept payments in supported cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, TRX, LTC) across multiple blockchain networks.
- Our services include: payment invoice generation, HD wallet-based deposit address creation, real-time payment detection, webhook notifications, withdrawal processing, and a merchant dashboard.
- We act as a technology provider and do not hold custody of your funds beyond what is necessary to process transactions. Collected payments are forwarded to your designated withdrawal addresses.
3. Account Registration
- You must register an account to use our services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, and two-factor authentication devices.
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access that results from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
- One person or legal entity may maintain only one merchant account unless explicitly authorized otherwise.
4. Fees and Payments
- Payrix charges a platform fee of 1% on each successfully processed payment. This fee is automatically deducted before the remaining balance becomes available for withdrawal.
- Fee rates may be adjusted with at least 30 days' written notice to registered merchants.
- Blockchain network fees (gas fees, miner fees) are borne by the payer during payment and by the merchant during withdrawals. These fees are not controlled by Payrix.
- There are no setup fees, monthly minimums, or hidden charges.
5. Permitted Use
- You agree to use Payrix only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- You must not use our services for: money laundering or terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud or deception, sale of illegal goods or services, or any activity that violates applicable law.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are engaged in prohibited activities, with or without notice.
6. API Usage
- Access to our API is governed by rate limits. The current default is 60 requests per minute per API key. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling.
- API keys are confidential. You must not share, publish, or embed API secret keys in client-side code or public repositories.
- We may modify the API with reasonable notice. Breaking changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance when possible.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API keys.
7. Sandbox and Testing
- We provide a sandbox mode for testing integrations without processing real transactions. Sandbox projects generate simulated payment data and do not interact with real blockchain networks.
- Sandbox mode is provided as-is for development purposes. Data created in sandbox mode may be periodically purged.
8. Withdrawals
- You may withdraw your available balance to a blockchain address you specify. Withdrawal requests are processed according to the configured withdrawal schedule.
- We may require additional verification for large withdrawals or if we detect unusual activity on your account.
- Once a withdrawal transaction is broadcast to the blockchain, it is irreversible. You are solely responsible for providing a correct destination address.
9. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Our platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control.
- We monitor blockchain RPC node health and automatically failover between providers, but network congestion or outages may affect payment detection times.
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance via the admin broadcast system.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Payrix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
- We are not liable for: losses due to blockchain network delays, congestion, or failures; losses caused by incorrect wallet addresses you provide; losses from unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials; any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Payrix in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Intellectual Property
- All Payrix branding, logos, software, and documentation are our proprietary property or licensed to us.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our API and dashboard solely for the purpose of integrating and managing cryptocurrency payments for your business.
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of our platform.
12. Termination
- You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Outstanding balances will be available for withdrawal for 90 days after account closure.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or prolonged inactivity (no transactions for 12+ months), with reasonable notice where possible.
- Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and access to the dashboard will be disabled. Transaction records will be retained as required by Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or dashboard notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
- Continued use of our services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- If you disagree with the changes, you may close your account before the effective date.
